Hello readers and welcome back from the weekend! I hope you found a little time to do something crafty. Today we have a new challenge to share with you at Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge. Challenge #128 is a color challenge, so using the colors shown in the image below, share with us YOUR creations!
Here is the card I created inspired by this week's challenge colors:
*A full list of supplies is located at the end of this post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. Using the Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Rectangle Nesting Dies, I cut the background from Crumb Cake cardstock. Using the Circle Frame dies from Newton's Nook, I cut the semi circle from white cardstock. On the upper right corner, I stamped "Zzzz" in Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped the image from Newton's Naptime in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it (in the challenge colors) using Copic markers. I used the coordinating Newton's Naptime dies to die cut the image out. I lined the back of the shaker frame with a piece of pink striped paper and stamped the sentiment in the upper left corner in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I created a shaker frame using a piece of acetate film and adhesive strips. I filled the shaker frame with pink sequins. Lastly, I adhered Newton napping on the outside of the shaker frame using 3M foam adhesive for added dimension.
