Last week I mentioned that I had recently re-subscribed to two monthly cardmaking kits. The first was Simon Says Stamp and this week I should be receiving the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit! It's a jungle out there! The June release focuses on the botany and biology of the jungle, from lush, leafy backgrounds to the amazing animals who occupy this beautiful habitat. This month Hero Arts has combined jungle-themed stamps and dies with a gorgeous dot palette of Daniel Smith artist quality paints as well as a brand new black dye ink that's darker than our Intense Black - we're calling it INTENS-ified! A pretty leaf stencil rounds out this fabulous kit. And best of all, they will donate 10% of the net profits from this kit to jungle habitat preservation through the World Wildlife Fund. June kit includes: ► - 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set ► - 20 Coordinating Frame Cuts ► - 2 Jungle Vine Fancy Dies ► - 6" x 6" Leaf Pattern Stencil ► - Watercolor Dot Card ► - Intens-ified Black Ink Cube The kit is valued at $79, but it's an incredible deal at only $34.99! The Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kits are offered for a limited time only and once this product sells out (and they usually do!) it will no longer be available! Here are some beautiful samples using the June My Monthly Hero kit created by the Hero Arts Design Team: Click below to shop the My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today! I can't wait to receive my Monthly Hero kit and share with you what I create! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day! XO, Crystal

Hello friends and TGIF! I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend ahead! I am very excited because it's the first weekend in a long time in which we have NO plans. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, but my goal is to craft for as much of the weekend as I can, because I am running dangerously low on birthday cards. I've also got to get that Father's Day card made this weekend too - no pressure!
I hope you enjoy today's cheerful yellow rose get well card. The brightness is sure to uplift someone's spirit. Card details:
Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. For the first matted layer, I cut a sheet of white cardstock to 5 1/4" x 4" and ran it through my Big Shot using the Garden Trellis Embossing folder. Using the Gina Marie Nesting Stitched Scalloped rectangles, I die cut a large rectangle from Daffodil Delight cardstock. I cut a 4" x 3" sheet of white cardstock and stamped "sorry you're sick" in Going Gray ink in the lower righthand corner.
I stamped two large yellow roses in Going Gray ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock and the leaves were stamped in Going Gray ink on white cardstock. All images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the center of the card using 3M foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a heavy coat of clear Wink of Stella to the roses and leaves for added sparkle.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
XO, Crystal

Hi friends, today I'm sharing a card with you that we made in my last stamp camp. It was only the second time I had used the Sketchy Landmarks stamp set from Altenew and the Westminster Abbey stamp made for a beautiful wedding card. It's very simple and elegant in black and gold. I love that this set also comes with a variety of greetings that would work well as a sympathy or more religious card too.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. I cut a 5 1/4x 4" sheet of Gold Foil paper for the first mat. I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Basic Black cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using a now-retired star embossing folder from Stampin' UP! I stamped the church on a scrap piece of Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed it in gold embossing powder. I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Thanks for visiting! XO, Crystal
List of supplies:
Hello and welcome to the first reveal of my Create w/ Crystal monthly cardmaking "club!" Last month I asked some fellow crafty friends who would be interested in a FREE little "kit." Every month I send each member a small envelope of supplies that they will have to use to create a card. Everyone in the group will receive the exact same supplies. Once they have completed their card, they mail it back to me (in a self-addressed stamped envelope) and I share all their cards with you! The idea is to see how vastly different our cards can be, despite all using the very same products.
May kit included:
5 1/2' x 11"' sheet of Basic Black cardstock
5 1/2" x 11" sheet of Whisper white cardstock 4 x 6" sheet of Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4 x 6" sheet of Lovely Lipstick cardstock 12' Lovely Lipstick ribbon 2 stamped sentiments 6 punched flowers 12" x 1" strip of Gold Glimmer paper Nesting Dolls stamped images in a variety of sizes and colors

I have recently signed up for two monthly card kits. Yes, again! I go back and forth between liking monthly kits and not liking them, but this time I'm determined to stick with it! The truth is that I see how many cards you can make from just one kit and I'm drastically in need of cards! I'm hoping that by having these kits mailed to me once a month I can really increase my on hand supply. Later this week, I'll share with you the other monthly kit company I re-joined!
