Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I have been crazy busy re-painting my entire house for the last two weeks. Yes, I mean ENTIRE house! Walls, ceilings, baseboards, heat registers, window trim, and crown molding! All of it! No, I didn't decide to just do one room of the house, but every single room. Two weeks into this project, I'm completely regretting that decision! Note to self - next time start with ONE room. I'm utterly exhausted and have pretty much burned both nostrils from the scents of primer, polyurethane and bleach. But, despite the perpetual tiredness and body aches and pains, I must say, the house is looking quite nice and it feels fresh and new again after 14 years.
I wish I could say that I've been busy making cards, but honestly, I haven't been in my craft room in over a month now! There simply has not been any time. So, for now, I'll be sharing some cards I made during my social media hiatus and during the transition from Super Stamp Girl to this new website. Today's beautiful floral cards feature the Peruvian Lily stamp set from Altenew. This stunning color layering set has rapidly become one of my current favorite floral stamp sets. Card details:
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. Using the Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Stitched rectangle dies, I die cut the rectangle also from the Neenah Solar White Smooth paper. I stamped the layers of the Peruvian Lily in Coastal Cabana ink, Marina Mist ink, Daffodil Delight ink and Calypso Coral ink. The stamen of each flower was stamped in Tuxedo Memento black ink. I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink and Granny Apple Green ink. All the ink colors I use are from Stampin' UP! I die cut both lilies out and layered them on the card front using 3M foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in the lower right corner using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and it is called "Inside & Out Birthday II." I added a couple randomly placed clear rhinestones and then lastly, I added a layer of Clear Wink of Stella over both flowers for added sparkle.
Here is the beautiful Peruvian Lily stamp set from Altenew that I used to create today's cards:
Using the same Peruvian Lily stamp set I created a second card, in another color palette, to show you the versatility of this beautiful stamp.
For this card I used the following ink colors: Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. I also added pink rhinestones in lieu of clear rhinestones.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
XO, Crystal

I love Altenew flower bundles. Have not seen this one before - but I love how you used it!
